Pirates finish the fall season at 15-4-1. - Phenix City, AL

TThe Chattahoochee Valley Pirates finished a solid fall schedule with a record of 15 wins, 4 losses, and 1 tie. The 15 wins included 2 victories of perenial Florida Power Tallahassee Community College, a sweep of the first annual Chatt Valley Fall Tournament, and wins over Andrew College, Darton College, ABAC, and Faulkner State.

Throughout the fall several returning players solidified their places on the depth chart by putting up outstanding performances. Returning players Alex Montes, Antonio "Carl" Callaway, Stephen Pittard, David Head, and Wade Dudley were among several that look to lead the charge into what is shaping up to be a very promising year for the Pirates. In addition, newcomers like Min Ho Kim, Matt Hill, Marc Nellist, Logan Foster, and Drew Freeman made an immediate impact on the Pirate team with exceptional fall production. Several red-shirt freshman also look to make an impact on this years club after posting solid fall seasons, notably, David Buchanan, who was among the team leaders in hitting as well as establishing himself as a leader and solid producer behind the plate.

The Pirates will begin their spring season in february with a trip down to Ft. Walton Beach, FL to participate in a tournament hosted by Okaloosa-Walton Community College
